Breastfeeding has been one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of parenting. There is no greater struggle that will make you think I want out and then at the end miss that special connection. The author of this blog has successfully breastfed and worked full time one child and is currently at the beginning of her second journey with her newest edition. Both children were born via c-section and both had tongue ties that prevented latching.
The idea behind this blog is to give hope to a new mom that has never breastfed. My first experience was with a hospital that was not supportive with breastfeeding and I had to fight to get the right support and to continue with my goal. The second experience was at another hospital. Hopefully some of my experiences will give a new mom that continued "if a problem shows".. not to give up.
May this give an accurate representation of the two experiences.
